Re:cinq, a sustainability-driven tech startup, came to us with a clear goal: to carve out a strong market presence by nailing down their purpose and core values. They knew that to stand out in the crowded sustainability space, their mission needed to align seamlessly with both market demands and their internal culture. That’s where we stepped in.
Challenge:
The company faced the task of crafting a compelling purpose, vision and set of core values that would act as their guiding north star—resonating with potential customers and employees alike while distinguishing themselves in a crowded market.
In the fast-growing sustainability space, standing out requires more than just good intentions. Re:cinq faced the challenge of defining a purpose, vision and core values that would set them apart from competitors, resonate deeply with eco-conscious customers and inspire top talent to join their mission… all while staying authentic in a market full of greenwashing.
Approach:
To address this challenge, we designed and facilitated a series of strategic workshops (online and in-person) with the founders, focused on purpose, vision and core value definition.
These workshops were designed to:
1. Engage key stakeholders in collaborative discussions
2. Analyse market trends and customer needs in the sustainability sector
3. Identify the unique strengths and aspirations of the company
4. Craft a clear and inspiring purpose statement
5. Define a set of core values that would guide decision-making and company culture
focusing on shared meaning and language
