Challenge:
In South Africa, Labello wanted to change the perception of their brand by attracting a younger, more connected audience.

Idea:
We came up with a way add more emotion to the product experience by creating "The Electric Kiss".
Execution:
At a Valentine's Day event in Johannesburg's inner-city Maboneng District we built a kiss activated installation on a stage framed by 10-foot hearts made of lights. Two people walked onto stage, each holding a conductive rope light. When the couple's lips touched, their bodies completed a circuit which was read by a microcontroller and the signal was amplified to trigger a lighting desk that controlled the giant heart lights, a laser display, a confetti cannon and the other display lights on the stage.
By the end of the evening Labello had created a strong emotional connection with couples while celebrating a romantic moment.
