Challenge:
In South Africa, Labello wanted to change the perception of their brand by attracting a younger, more connected audience.

Idea:
We came up with a way to add more emotion to the product experience by creating "The Electric Kiss".

Execution:
In the heart of Johannesburg’s vibrant Maboneng District, we created a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day spectacle, an interactive, kiss-activated installation that lit up the night. Set on a stage framed by towering 10-foot glowing hearts, couples stepped into the spotlight, each holding a conductive rope light. As their lips met, their touch completed a circuit, sending a signal through a microcontroller that unleashed a dazzling display - illuminating the giant hearts, firing up a laser show, setting off a confetti cannon, and igniting the stage with a symphony of lights. A magical fusion of technology and romance, turning every kiss into a breathtaking moment.
By the end of the evening Labello had created a strong emotional connection with couples while celebrating a romantic moment.
